Ambrose Field
's new track for live electronics,
NR
, was broadcast on the BBC's
Hear and Now
radio program on the 2nd of July, 2005. In
NR
, Field uses Kyma to produce haunting, slowly evolving synthetic sound textures evocative of the real world around us. He designed Kyma Sounds to re-circulate simple materials through a series of spectral processes resulting in a shifting soundscape of urban emptiness.
