Phil Curtis and SoNu performed Anne LeBaron's opera Sucktion as part of the New Original Works Festival 2008 at the CalArts REDCAT Theate at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, July 31 - August 2, 2008. Phil used the Kyma/Osculator/Wii setup to turn a vacuum cleaner into a musical controller for LeBaron's tale of a woman's cyber-erotic transformation from abject housewife into a self-sufficient cyborg.
