Lou Reed has formed a trio called Best Seat In The House featuring Lou on guitar, Ulrich Krieger on tenor sax and Sarth Calhoun doing live Kyma processing and performing the Continuum Fingerboard. The first release of the trio is a live recording of two nights live at the Redcat in Los Angeles, October 2 and 3, 2008.
