The AC Toolbox is a Macintosh application to assist the algorithmic composition of music. Several models for defining musical events are included. In addition to MIDI input and output, the AC Toolbox can also produce text files suitable for use as data in other programs such as Csound.
The new version Version 4.1 is a native OS X application that includes support for Symbolic Sound's Kyma. All MIDI data for notes, controllers, and program changes can be routed via the Flame firewire interface directly to the Capybara.
