End of an Era
Other: 11 Nov 2005

The directors of
The Tape Gallery
, known to Kyma users worldwide as the home of audio morphing, have reluctantly chosen to cease operations earlier this week. Managing Director Lloyd Billing started the now-famous Soho post production facility nearly 25 years ago, building it up from a single room to one of the leading post production houses in London. Tape Gallery's Technical Manager
Pete Johnston
is known to Kyma users as the author of the popular
CrossFilter
module and as the undisputed master of the audio morph.
We will miss the energy, the humor, and the innovative ideas of The Tape Gallery. But we know that the entrepreneurial spirit and creative talents of its individual employees and directors will continue to enhance the London post production community. We look forward to hearing what they will do next!
