Jörg Lensing's Cinema/TV students—Christiane Buchmann, Leif Thomas and Matthias Heuser—have won the Newcomer Prize in the Sound Design category of the European Film Music Awards, presented in a ceremony at the culmination of SoundTrack_Cologne 3.0, the Cologne Congress for Music and Sound in Film and Media. The prize was for the sound design on a short animated film entitled Zasucanec, which the students realized in Professor Lensing's course on Auditive Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund, Germany. The jury describe the sound track as "vivid, entertaining, surprising and funny" as well as "very precise and synchronized with the action." They also noted "the sophisticated way of dealing with backgrounds and dynamic elements and the symbiosis of music and sounds." Discussion(Descriptions, reviews, discussion):
