Degrees available: FH-Diploma Kyma used in: course work, studio time, research
In the "University of Applied Sciences" (Fachhochschule) in Dortmund (Germany) there is a department (Fachbereich) for Design. Part of this department is a sequence of courses on Film / TV which mostly for the moment is open for camera-students. The education program for these students includes "Sound" and "Auditive Design." For that we have two full DAW equiped studios (ProTools). One of these studios is now also equipped with a Kyma / Capybara System for Sound Design. In the future, it is planned to have a second study chain in "Film/TV" which will be called "Post Production." Part of that study chain will then be "Sound Design" open for students who will concentrate on the audio for Movies. Additional Information:
