Kyma used in:
research
We are using Kyma mainly for psychoacoustical experiments, which can be related with music, but may not necessarily. People who are intrested in rather basic auditory processes, such as, auditory filters, masking, tonal quality, time perception, stream segregation, and so on may spend happy and fruitful days in our labs. On the other hand, people who want to create real and/or innovative music, or people who like to argue about music in rather abstract manner could be frustrated in our labs.
