Question (or Task)

Older version of the Kyma software used to have a bold color contrast between fields that would accept a "hot" parameter and those that would not. Now I cannot see any difference except under certain lighting conditions. Is there a default setting that I could change so that there would be a more distinct color contrast between these two types of fields. I recently spent hours trying to come up any sort of "hot" parameter expression that would compile, only to eventually realize (after multiple posts to this wiki forum) that what I was attempting was not simply not doable ... which would have been immediately obvious if to me if the color contrast was as it used to be.

Solution(s)

In case this would help: in addition to the background color (cyan for hot parameter fields and white for fields that can take only constant values), the names of hot parameters are italicized. The names of constant-value parameters are not italicized.

Problem solved ... by creating a new display profile using the System Preferences Display panel.
