Question (or Task)
Kyma said that there was an Unknown error (22). How do I recover from an error 22?
Solution(s)
Error 22 indicates a communications error between Kyma and the Kyma FireWire Interface. This is usually rare, so if you are getting this error message often, please contact Symbolic Sound. (Often this will happen when another FireWire device is connected or disconnected from your computer.)
Usually, you can recover from the error by choosing
Initialize DSP
from the
DSP
menu. However, this error may indicate that the Kyma FireWire Interface has crashed. If this has happened, quit Kyma, remove the power from the Kyma FireWire Interface for a few seconds, turn on the power to the Interface, and restart Kyma.
