kyma•tweaky . Know . DoesKymaRequireDrivers

Problem

I know that Kyma.5 required drivers and extensions to work, but I am unsure whether Kyma X requires drivers or extensions.

Solution

Regardless of the Kyma interface type, Kyma X uses drivers built into the operating systems on which it runs, so the Kyma X application package (which is a folder on Windows platforms) is all that is required for the installation.

Note that on Windows, the driver information file (kyma.inf or FlameXP.inf, for example) simply tells Windows which built in driver to use.
