Problem
I have found that when I add a Gain prototype to the end of an algorithm in the timeline, the variables beyond the Gain module no longer appear in the VCS.

Solution
Can you check the timeline to see if the variables that no longer appear have been automated? And that you are on the correct VCS layer? Thanks!

hi Kurt, no the variables are still just there as per prior to putting the gain module in, and are accessible again when the gaine module is removed. There is no change in the automation/live settings

I am seeing a similar problem. I tried to run a Timeline from last year (written pre-KymaX) and lots of VCS controls were missing. In all cases, Gain modules were downstream.

Most likely this is due to a change in the way that track inputs in timelines are handled. See
TimelineVCSCtrlsMissing
for more information.
