kyma•tweaky . Know . REAnalysisSampleRates |
The RE Analysis Tool does something unexpected to sound files having sample rates different from Kyma's. When I select (for example) a 22kHz sample file for analysis, it is unexpectedly played back at the correct rate and duration (in contrast to the sample editor, which plays it at the wrong rate), but then when I play the resulting REResonator sound, or the excitation signal, they are truncated at about half the original duration. The excitation (EX) sound plays at the correct rate, but only half the duration.
