Problem
The Tape Recorder tool rturns an error: the message #negated sent to 00:00:03:07, an instance of class SMPTETime was not under stood. Happen when the recordeing is set up and the pause button pressed to begion recording. Short corrupt files are written. This was a problem with 6.0, it went away on updating, but has returned when I moved to a new computer. It is not an access problem, all folders are R&W for everyone, the admin status does not matter, it breaks in all accounts.

Solution
It appears that, somehow, you were getting a negative SMPTE value. We were able to replicate the error by clicking Record (it went into Pause),
pressing cmd+r
, then clicking the Pause button. Code is now protected so (in the next update of Kyma) this will prevent SMPTE time from going negative in the Tape Recorder.
