This is a collection of Sounds that I use when people visit me and want to play the Continuum Fingerboard. These Sounds have been passed around among continuum players, and I am not sure who designed each Sound. I think most of the credit goes to Carla Scaletti, and Ed Eagan.
If you double-click on the Sound File in Kyma, you will see three rows of Sounds:
The first row of Sounds were sent to me from Edmund Eagan. He has included descriptions with the files. I really like the equal-tempered resonator on the continuous-pitched FM! (It reminds me of the 'Palme' resonator on the Ondes Martenot.) And the scrub is quite interesting too. If you want to practice vibrato, crescendo, glissando, and other technique, a simple Sound is often best -- try the first FM Sound.
The third row of Sounds were sent to me from Carla Scaletti. They show an interesting variety of ways to use the Continuum Fingerboard to control Kyma.
