Problem
Various unexplained crazy sounds coming from patches that used to play fine, and a lot of dialog boxes complaining of unresolved classes, explained as missing files. I have also noticed short periods of full noise at the end for waveform and other audio files, which came in the Kyma install and other sample files previously know to be clean.
Solution
Do not use
FileVault
in OS10.3.2. It seems to me that the encription/decription system is not fast enough for audio appliactions and that a wide range of unexplainable problems arose for me using known timelines and patches in Kyma after turning
FileVault
on in OSX. As mentioned above these problems included full amplitude noise bursts at the end of waveform, table and audio files. Solution: turn off
FileVault
and re-install Kyma - all seems fine now.
