• Bio: Kiku Hibino is a sound artist. living and working in Hyde Park, Chicago. He ws born and raised in Japan, and studied electronic music composition and media art with Toru Iwatake, Akira Takaoka, Nathaniel Phillips, Masaki Fujihata, Atau Tanaka and Christopher Penrose at Keio University, Shonan Fujisawa Campus, from 1997-2001.

  To pursue further study in electronic music composition, Kiku came to the U.S. in 2001. He received a Master's degree in Media Arts and Technology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 2003, where he studied microsound electronic music composition with Curtis Roads and Karen Tanaka.
