• Bio: Nick McCabe is a producer and sound artist, and a guitarist with and founder of The Verve — twenty years this year (2009). He is still amazed at the possibilities offered by guitar bass and drums—see http://www.myspace.com/nickmccabeuk for some of Nick's krautrock inspired/psychedelic stuff. Nick will be using Kyma for transformation of found sound and real world instruments, which are already featured heavily in his remixes. Llive granulation of various sources plus realtime spectral treatments are amongst Nick's favourites in all of Kyma's possibilities.

• Comment: I'm a long term user and fan of this superb system. Tried to go back to solely Csound and Puredata for the convenience and availability whilst on the road, plus their Linux robustness appeals to me as a fan, but the fun was seriously missing. Back to the Mac, back to Kyma, back to being productive.
